Abstract
The present research work consists of a bibliographic documentary analysis that allowed to identify and define the categories of analysis, to develop a case study on a 5 year old student diagnosed with functional dyslalia, with the objective of proposing a guide directed to didactics as part of the speech therapy intervention. The methodology on which this work is based is based on the case study method with a qualitative approach, which allowed the use of the following research techniques: participant observation, documentary review, semi-structured interview, through the application of the following instruments: field diary, bibliographic record, speech therapy reports and interview guide. The diagnosis achieved from the analysis of the information showed the current state of the child's phonetic-phonological component, from which the didactic guide was designed with a structure that includes objectives, methodologies, activities, exercises, resources and evaluation, as a support tool for teachers and family to correct functional dyslalia in the natural contexts of the child's development.
