Abstract
This research project seeks to improve student learning, since education is the fundamental engine for the development of the human being, this is to be achieved from the implementation of pedagogical tools, including educational technologies, to that 3rd BGU students develop the ability to learn, specifically in the area of Biology in the topics "Health, drug addiction, first aid and sexual health". The interest in our subject arises from the observation made in the pre-professional practices carried out in the César Dávila Andrade Educational Unit located in the City of Cuenca, with a total of 60 students of 3rd of parallel BGU G (Control group) and H (Experimental Group), where it is proposed to make use of ICT through a didactic guide to strengthen the learning process of students in the area of Biology. The paradigm of this research is the critical partner and the approach developed is of a mixed nature with the respective case study, within which instruments were implemented for the collection of information such as: interview, surveys, pre-test and post-test carried out by the researchers towards the students and the Biology teacher. The didactics within the classroom seek to reinforce the knowledge of the students with pedagogical activities that propose to generate dynamic classes through the use of an ICT-based didactic guide with the intervention of the students in the Biology classes.
