Abstract
The construction and assimilation of knowledge by students depend on teaching and learning, two extremely important concepts that together form a single indispensable process in education. Thus, the present research study is proposed with the purpose of proposing a methodological strategy for the teaching-learning process of the topic Mitosis and Meiosis in the second year of high school, in order to contribute significantly to the learning level of students through different activities, tools and resources that allow working in an interactive and didactic
way. The methodology applied in this research, which responds to the interpretative paradigm, seen from a mixed approach, allowed observing, collecting and analyzing the respective data for the same. Likewise, through the analysis of the results obtained through the use of different data collection techniques such as pretest, posttest and Interview, it is detailed that the implementation of the methodological strategy generated positive results, which allows concluding the feasibility of the implementation of the methodological strategy in the topic Mitosis and Meiosis, in the area of Biology.

La construcción y asimilación del conocimiento de los estudiantes dependen de la enseñanza y el aprendizaje, dos conceptos sumamente importantes y, que juntos forman un solo proceso indispensable en la educación. De esta forma, se planteó el presente estudio de investigación con la finalidad de proponer una estrategia metodológica para el proceso de enseñanza – aprendizaje del tema Mitosis y Meiosis en segundo año de bachillerato, esto con el propósito de contribuir significativamente en el nivel de aprendizaje de los estudiantes mediante diferentes actividades, herramientas y recursos que permitan trabajar de forma interactiva y
didáctica. La metodología aplicada en esta investigación que responde al paradigma interpretativo, vista desde un enfoque mixto, permitió observar, recopilar y analizar los datos respectivos para la misma. Así mismo, mediante el análisis de los resultados obtenidos a través del uso de diferentes técnicas de recolección de datos como pre test, post test y entrevista, se detalló que la implementación de la estrategia metodológica generó resultados positivos, lo cual permitió concluir la factibilidad de la implementación de la estrategia metodológica en el tema Mitosis y Meiosis, en el área de Biología.
