Abstract
In early childhood education, infants play and experiment with their knowledge in different ways, according to their learning rhythms. In the present research, scarce participation of infants from 4 to 5 years old in the CEI "Alberto Astudillo Montesinos" was detected. Therefore, we seek to encourage children's participation with innovative activities through artistic expression by levels such as music, theater, drawing, dance, painting, and literary expression. The research was based on the socio-critical paradigm, with a qualitative approach. The case study was applied as a research method and techniques: participant observation, and semi-structured interviews with their respective instruments: field diary, observation guide, and question guide. The main results detected that the participation of infants is scarce and this should be motivated by the teaching vocation, since it is the mediator of learning experiences and motivates them to participate actively. Taking into account two principles of Reggio Emilia and a gamification table with points at the end of the activities, demonstrating that the educational proposal applied was striking for the participation of infants and the enjoyment of their learning.
