Abstract
In response to the educational approach of the 21st century teacher, the present work has been carried out whose theme is the opinion article in which the general objectives that are present in the Ecuadorian national curriculum have been considered, about what is to be achieved in the students. To this end, various topics have been developed such as: argumentation, literary figures, neologisms and foreign words, punctuation marks, related to ICT tools, helped the activities to be relevant when writing opinion articles. At the end of the proposed activities, students were able to acquire meaningful learning and, therefore, not only to develop their writing, but also to exercise the necessary orality to function in their cultural and social environment.
