Abstract
The aim of this study was to assess the effectiveness of a didactic guide for learning Thermal Energy: Absorbed Heat by 1ero BGU A de la Unidad Educativa Roberto Rodas in the Physics area. The sample is made up of 21 students, with a methodology that involved open and closed questions, using Likert scale multiple choice responses. Data collection instruments were pre-tests and post-tests to evaluate student learning. Results showed students' interest in learning Physics topics, but the need for more interactive classes and clearer explanations was mentioned. Despite some contradictions in responses, it was emphasized the importance of improving methodology and resources in the classroom. In conclusion, the implementation of the didactic guide proved to be a valuable tool for the learning process in high school students, emphasizing the importance of adapting educational strategies to student preferences for effective and meaningful learning. It is suggested that future studies involve longer interventions with more sessions to evaluate the long-term impact of the didactic guide on student learning. Additionally, constant student feedback would be beneficial for continued improvement in their learning.
