Abstract
The bibliographical review and the theoretical analysis carried out based on the contribution of the scholarly authors of the subject, allowed to identify the current conceptions about the training of teachers to assume an inclusive education, in which they must prepare and self-reflect their practice to find the strategies that allow them to attend to diversity in their classrooms, in this context it is important to use the inclusive approach of the DUA within the education processes. The purpose of this research was to propose a pedagogical strategy for the instruction or training of teachers of General Basic Middle Education of the UECPP on the application of the Universal Learning Design. The study is approached from the socio-critical paradigm, framed within the action research method, which through the assumed phases allowed a process of observation inquiry in cycles of reflection action mediated by guiding indicators derived from the category of analysis. Techniques such as focus group, participant observation and interview were used to obtain a participatory diagnosis supported by data triangulation; from which a pedagogical strategy based on sociological and psychopedagogical foundations was designed, which has phases, objectives, forms of organization and didactic components, functionally structured from the participation of all those involved. Through the proposal, it is expected that the teachers of the basic media of UECPP achieve knowledge, skills, motivation and a commitment for the application of the DUA, achieving the transformation of their educational practice moving towards attention to diversity and inclusive education.
