Abstract
This curricular integration research is related to the design and implementation of virtual learning objects (VLO). It aims to strength the knowledge and learning domains of unit 49, circle 1 in the Development of Study Skills and Techniques (DSST) process of the Kichwa curriculum in Chibuleo town. The development of this research is based on the pre-professional practices held from November 2020 to May 2021 with 22 students from the “Intercultural Bilingual Chibuleo Guardiana de la Lengua” millennium school. To develop the project, we worked with various educational actors applying the participatory action research (PAR) approach. Therefore, research techniques were used such as: interviews, panel discussions and information systematization. The instruments used are: questionnaires with structured questions, slides and field diaries. The proposal is based on the design and development of an inter-learning guide in which virtual learning objects are integrated, which are defined as a set of digital resources that have to achieve the educational objectives, integrate educational content and promote learning activities with contextualized elements. The implementation of the VLOs during the synchronous and asynchronous lessons allowed that the dynamic of the work to change due to the diversification of activities, which in turn strengthened knowledge and learning domains. In addition, it increased the communication between teachers and students, it encouraged active participation and motivated them to held the activities requested using the VLO.
