Abstract
This innovation project, considered in Molleturo High School, arises due to the lack of motivation and interest caused by learning difficulties in Natural Sciences, detected in students of eighth grade of Upper Elementary Sublevel, caused by a deficient motivation and application of active and innovative methodologies, due to the fact that they only comply with the activities established within the student texts and that they are not contextualized with the environment by the respective teachers. This Educational Institution, in the city of Cuenca, serves different communities in its surroundings. It has a Sub-level of Superior Basic and a High School; the ninth grade, made up of male and female students around the edge of twelve. The Theoretical Framework of the innovation project is based on an efficient and reliable bibliographic review, with the use of virtual platforms: Google Academic, Latindex, Redalyt, Scielo, among others, which have served to guide the application of the methodology I.A.P., in addition to digital documents of SENESCYT, Education for Sustainable Development in Practice and, the School that Investigates among others. The methodological proposal proposed within this innovation project establishes 5 phases: Diagnosis, Justification of the problem, Planning of the activities, Execution of activities, and Evaluation, Socialization and Systematization, each one presents a series of didactic tools, applicable by the teachers, punctual objectives achievable in each phase, and didactic resources to be works with the students, parents and leaders of the local organizations, same that have served in an important way to the educational investigation, as an alternative proposal based on the methodology IAP, making integral part to all the actors of the educational community.
