Abstract
In Ecuador, since 2018, the Ministry of Education offers the virtual distance education modality for people with unfinished schooling. Teachers of this modality have used different teaching-learning methodologies mediated by MOODLE platform, as a virtual classroom where the educational process is carried out. During the pandemic caused by the Covid-19 disease, educational actors faced several challenges, for example they were not prepared to use new technology or tics, because these elements became the best ally to continue with EPJA education and other education modalities as well. This research aims to make visible this aspects, from the perspectives of authorities, teachers and students, the teaching-learning methodologies used by teachers in times of pandemic. The present study was developed within the descriptive-exploratory methodological framework, since it describes a current situation and with the use of different information collection techniques such as: surveys, interviews and focus groups, qualitative and quantitative data were obtained that show the advantages and disadvantages of using MOODLE as an educational platform for young an adults people in times of pandemic. The results obtained show that the platform has been a means of great help in order to continue education in times of pandemic, despite the complications presented by the new normality. The conclusions obtained in the investigative process show that the methodology used by the teachers in the Virtual Teaching-Learning Classroom [EVEA] MOODLE platform can be improved in the subject of Interdisciplinary Project, as a methodological strategy is proposed for the process of teaching learning of EPJA students, it will allow improving the teaching-learning process and that students develop necessary skills for lifelong learning.
