Abstract
research focuses on the reconstruction of significant educational practices within the framework of Education for Young Adults (EPJA) and their impact on the development of entrepreneurial skills of students at the Martiniano Guerrero Freire Educational Unit, located in Riobamba, Ecuador. Based on the socio-critical paradigm, it uses case studies and a qualitative methodology to understand the phenomenon in depth. In the first chapter, the various pedagogical methods implemented by the institution to foster entrepreneurship are identified, including a focus on the student's reality, individual interviews, business plans, project-based learning, experiential learning, mentoring, and the integration of soft skills into the curriculum. The second chapter identifies and describes the technical and soft skills developed by students through the pedagogical methodologies implemented at the Martiniano Guerrero Freire Educational Unit, with a special focus on their relationship with entrepreneurship. The third chapter examines how these pedagogical methodologies have contributed to the development and application of entrepreneurial skills in real contexts. Through case studies and testimonials, the competencies acquired by students are explored, highlighting the impact of project-based learning (PBL), experiential learning, entrepreneurial simulations and mentoring. The findings reveal that technical competencies, such as planning and resource management, along with soft skills, such as teamwork and problem solving, have been critical to the success of their ventures. These skills have not only improved their personal lives, but also their social environment, demonstrating the effectiveness of pedagogical strategies in the formation of entrepreneurs capable of facing real challenges.
