Abstract
One of the latent problems of the institution is where it is located, one of the many reasons that we have business informalities, it is necessary to implement development projects that use Mathematics as the way of life, without any knowledge of the calculation of the Simple Interest and Its applications, this deserves great importance, since it inserts in the commercial world to the entire educational community. In the Didactic Unit implemented, students in the eleventh grade deduced the mathematical model they will use in daily economic activities, using technological tools such as Geogebra and Excel to relate this topic to the linear function. The way of work was participatory and inclusive, seeking meaningful learning, taking consideration the particularities of each student, the results obtained were satisfactory, being that they were able to apply their previous knowledge, investigate new topics, solve contextualized problems, generalize them, interacting with other disciplines inherent in the subject.
