Abstract
This research describes the ideas of different authors who talk about the use of GeoGebra as a tool for learning quadratic functions. The research question describes: How to improve the learning of quadratic functions in students of the tenth year of Basic General Education (EGB) of the Catholic Private Educational Unit of Cuenca? From this, the general objective is to propose GeoGebra in the learning of quadratic functions in students of the tenth year of Higher Basic Education. Next, it is mentioned that with the use of technology within the classroom, students increase their creativity and critical thinking. Therefore, the use of GeoGebra is enriching and beneficial, since it is dynamic software where students can explore and visualize complex mathematical concepts or processes in an attractive way, helping to improve understanding and retention of topics. Finally, a methodology with a mixed approach will be applied, starting from a pragmatic paradigm applied to a sample of 74 students from the tenth year of EGB, with the purpose of obtaining successful results in the development of the established proposal.
