Abstract
The purpose of this research is to make known the importance of implementing virtual tools in the Mathematics area of the 2nd year of EGB in the Ciudad de Cuenca Educational Unit, with the aim of strengthening the teaching-learning process through the use of ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) and TAC (Learning and Knowledge Technologies) through adaptations and considering the needs presented by the students, since, through participant observation in the practices, we identified that the use of the technology is scarce, which generated disinterest in the students when understanding the contents and performing the tasks. Likewise, it is important to indicate that theoretical references such as Giler and Sánchez, who mention the importance of incorporating ICT and TAC, were helpful. Therefore, this research has a socio-critical paradigm and a mixed approach, the qualitative one that made it possible to describe in detail the reality of the object of study and the quantitative one allowed us to obtain numerical data of the results of the research, techniques and instruments were also used. of information collection such as: participant observation, interview, observation sheet, field diaries, pre-test and post-test evaluation. Subsequently, the proposal was applied based on a series of activities that were adapted on different platforms and as a result it was possible to show that the application of the proposal gave positive results in the acquisition of knowledge by students, generating interest and motivation within the classroom.
