Abstract
The objective of this research work is to contribute through a didactic strategy to the teaching-learning process of Biomes of the world in the third year of high school E in the Luis Cordero Educational Unit. In order to fulfill the proposed objective, a didactic strategy is proposed with activities that seek to meet the needs found in the teaching-learning process of Biology. Four studies carried out in similar contexts are taken as a reference with the aim of improving the PEA in education. Likewise, for the design of the didactic strategy, the research is guided by the work of Gutiérrez (2018). On the other hand, this research is based on a socio-critical paradigm with a qualitative approach that is complemented by the quantitative, it also presents a type of pre-experimental research, with a sample of 35 students and the biology teacher. Information is obtained through the initial (pretest) and final (posttest) diagnosis. In the diagnosis, shortcomings present in the teaching of the subject were identified, such as insufficient didactics, little use of technological tools and little participation, which is reflected in low grades. To solve the problems detailed above, the didactic strategy that has three moments of the class is developed: beginning, development and consolidation with didactic, playful activities and accompanied by presentations on the digital platform canva. Among the results obtained after the application of the didactic strategy is the following: an improvement in student grades, more dynamic classes, better openness of students to participate in school activities, in addition the theory was brought to the practice with the development of mockups. Generating a positive transformation in the problem encountered.
