Abstract
This research aims to work on emotional education from parenting styles, this being one of the factors that play an important role during early childhood, allowing the infant to develop emotional skills that are part of their training for the acquisition of new learnings throughout his life. However, due to the reality that arises from confinement, the family has taken the role of strengthening and guiding children from home. For this reason, it is intended to strengthen the emotional education of boys and girls between 4 and 5 years of the sublevel 2 parallel D of the Initial Education Center "AB", of the city of Cuenca-Ecuador, through virtual training workshops on parenting styles aimed at families. In the same way, the project is framed in the Action Research (IA) methodology, of an applied-descriptive type, based on a qualitative approach and a social-critical paradigm. From the different techniques and instruments applied it was possible to specify that frustration, lack of control and emotional awareness, and dependence on an adult for the execution of activities were factors that most affect the decline of the emotional competencies of infants. From this, the educational proposal called Educating and learning as a family arises. In this way, the theme becomes transcendental to work on it from an early age, since today education has focused on academics, molding infants to meet the needs of society and not their own interests, being so, that Family context is considered one of the fundamental pillars in the emotional, social and educational development of children.
