Abstract
The use of the different digital technological tools is due to the implementation of the various ICT Information and Communication Technologies, especially within this virtual educational environment through which we are moving. The aim of this research is to implement a proposal that will encourage teaching of addition and subtraction learning. In the face of this and in order to seek a better understanding, A strengthening of skills and a motivation toward the concepts of addiction and subtraction We have carried out a Webquest which consists of various interactive activities facilitating the realization of various exercises and problems in the students of 4to years of the parallel “A” of the Millennium Educational Unit “Sayausi” Located in the Sayausi parish in the canton of Cuenca. Our research focuses on a mixed approach using participatory action research methodology. We used the semi-structured interview technique and the tests to collect the information, and we also used the field diary as an instrument. Within the proposal we applied a pretest with the aim of knowing the level of competence in the resolution of problems focused on addiction and subtraction, once the proposal was applied a post test was used to know the effectiveness of this one. Finally, after the intervention with the proposal and carried out the analysis of the obtained data, we conclude that the webquest support to improve and strengthen the skills of the students in relation to the topics of addition and subtraction.
