Abstract
In the present project, it is proposing a pedagogical strategy, oriented to the building and strengthening of the learning by discovering in the area of Natural Science and the link with the scholar projects. The focus is qualitative so that it has been made a diagnosis starting for the participative observation, interviews, polls and diagnosis test. The results showed a limited developed of the Natural Science curriculum, taking into account that it is not possible to diversify the environments for teaching - learning in this area of knowledge. Also, it is showed a tendency to a traditional didactic focus, what implies a limited use of innovated methodologic strategies that propitiate to link the own contents of this area to the school projects that are implemented in the Educational Institutions. Before this situation, it was deepened theoretically and methodologically in the subject, to design a pedagogical strategy about the process of learning by discovering in the area of Natural Science, and the link with the school project developing activities from an environment that favors the interaction of students with their context. The results of the application of the project were favorable as the performance of the students in this area compared with the initial results of the diagnostic tests improved, as well as the change of attitude since they actively participated in the construction of the garden, experimented, observed, analyzed, built their knowledge based on experience and used new spaces to learn.
