Abstract
The design and implementation of culturally relevant learning environments in Early Childhood Education and particularly in Community Family Child Education is a priority from the pedagogical, curricular and didactic point of view in order to provide the youngest members of society with integrated learning since motor skills cognitive development, autonomy, expressiveness among others. Can be worked on through different topics. For this reason the objective of this research was to propose an art corner called "Ñuka Kawsayka Ruraymikan" with cultural relevance for the development of artistic expression of children from 3 to 5 years old in the classroom of Community Family Child Education of the Intercultural Bilingual Education School Mushuc Ñan (Tungurahua, Ecuador) based on didactic activities with the grapho-plastic technique given that the poor organization of the spaces in consideration of elements of the socio-cultural context was evidenced. The conceptual theoretical references for the research were based on the Ministry of Education, Morán, Lavanchy, Borbor, Ibáñez, Díaz, among other authors, which address artistic expression, learning corners, art corner and cultural relevance since these topics helped to solve the problem detected. The research corresponds to the socio-critical paradigm from a qualitative approach and as a methodology Action Research. Likewise the techniques were the participant observation, the interview and the exploration guides which were directed to the teacher, mother of the family and the community. It is worth mentioning that each technique had its own instrument with the purpose of identifying the problem and subsequently give an answer to such situation. After the respective analysis the proposal was designed, implemented and evaluated responding to the objectives set out in the research in order to allow children to express their feelings, ideas, emotions or thoughts through the grapho-plastic technique and the art corner, respecting and revaluing their own culture.
