Abstract
The present research work aims to propose a comprehensive system of play activities to strengthen oral communication in a child with intellectual disabilities in the third grade "A" of General Basic Education in the Educational Unit Agustin Cueva Tamariz, this will help us to help the student to express himself better in his family environment, The child has problems with his verbal fluency, because he distorts, substitutes and omits some phonemes making his dialogue not very understandable, therefore, we have reviewed some sources that helped us to support and give clarity on this issue. In addition, the paradigm that was worked in this research is interpretive with a qualitative approach, since it allowed us to observe and analyze the problem to be investigated, its application was done through a case study, because it allowed us to focus on a single individual obtaining a single case study. Likewise, we will talk about the proposal which consists of designing an integral system of ludic activities for the strengthening of oral communication, this was achieved through several activities where the vocabulary, auditory discrimination and verbal fluency will be mainly stimulated, thus achieving that the student can express himself correctly in different contexts, making his teaching-learning process a quality one.
