Abstract
The purpose of the advisory Plan for the leader of the Víctor Dávalos Intercultural Bilingual Community Educational Unit is to guide the updating of the pedagogical principle of the Community Educational Plan (PEC) 2024-2028, in accordance with the guidelines of the Ministry of Education and the Model of the Intercultural Bilingual Education System (MOSEIB, 2014). The methodology includes a qualitative approach, with an interpretive paradigm, a type of field study and a case study design. Data collection techniques and instruments are used through semi-structured interviews with the educational leader, focus groups with teachers, and documentary review of the current PEC. The analysis includes the triangulation of data, for the comprehensive understanding of the current situation of the pedagogical axis and its pedagogical-curricular, socio-environmental and digital citizenship components. The results show that the pedagogical axis of the current PEC does not adequately reflect the cultural, social and linguistic diversity of the Amazonian communities, which could affect negatively the academic performance of students due to its outdatedness and lack of contextualization. The main scientific result is the advisory plan that seeks to update the pedagogical axis of the PEC in a contextualized way, thus improving the educational quality at the UECIB Víctor Dávalos.
