Abstract
Emotional intelligence in early childhood considers and benefits the comprehensive development of the boy and girl, giving them the skills to recognize and use their emotions assertively, expressing themselves appropriately with others. The development of this intelligence has become a necessity, which has a significant and consistent influence on the future life of the infant by empowering or not. For this reason, in the present investigation an educational booklet is proposed, which aims to contribute to the strengthening of emotional intelligence, it is aimed at infants from 4 to 5 years old, a product that arises from a field study carried out in the various educational institutions in which they have developed in preprofessional praxis. In relation to the methodology, the mixed approach stands out, highlighting the qualitative part, it is emphasized that it is recognized during all phases of the investigative process, and is also guided through action research. Regarding the theoretical part, some concepts are presented, which are related to emotional intelligence, its development in early childhood, among others. Among the results that have been achieved is the recognition and proper management of emotions, both by the teacher, the children and the parents. Finally, the conclusions and recommendations arise from the entire process carried out, in which it was sought to highlight the importance of the work of emotional intelligence and its strengthening from an early age.
