Abstract
A didactic sequence allows to develop activities in a progressive way to reach a proposed goal. Therefore, the objective of this research is to propose a didactic sequence that uses ICT to strengthen the teaching-learning process of the Language in students of the ninth year B of the Ricardo Muñoz Chávez Educational Unit. These tools motivate students' interest by reinforcing the teaching - learning process of indigenous Poetry, a theme that was chosen to apply the sequence. Different technological media were used, such as YouTube, the Wix Learning Management System and Netflix. The socio-critical paradigm and the mixed approach allowed to apply instruments to collect qualitative and quantitative data. The following instruments were applied to the sample of 42 students: field diaries, interviews, surveys, diagnostic and formative evaluation; which, allowed to determine a flaw in the learning of the indigenous Poetry by the lack of methodological strategies and innovative resources, therefore, a didactic sequence was proposed. At the end of the project it was concluded that, the application of the didactic sequence through the use of ICT allowed students to develop skills with performance criteria on indigenous Poetry. When comparing the diagnostic and formative evaluation, it was concluded that the students improved significantly in each of the skills evaluated, which confirms the efficiency and effectiveness of the proposed teaching sequence.
