Abstract
The educational inclusion of children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) has been a constant problem since its discovery and characterization. Despite the long years in which it has been studied and the enormous amount of research that has been developed to better understand people with ASD, their inclusion in the educational field is a pending task. The objective of this research was to propose a set of didactic strategies for the educational inclusion of a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) belonging to the Manuela Cañizares Special Educational Unit. The research design corresponded to a qualitative case study, which had as instruments the participant observation and the interview with both the teacher and the child's family. The main results obtained are the preponderance of the impeding factors both for the permanence in the educational system and for its success, these being the lack of training and inadequate training. In addition, with respect to the child's teachinglearning process, it requires very notable help in terms of verbalization and language skills in general. From this, a didactic strategy was designed to implement in the child's teaching-learning process, which considers these results. The evaluation of the proposal is positive, indicating progress in the child's development
