Abstract
The present work entitled Cultural Corner to revalue the ancestral knowledge of children from 3 to 4 years of the Intercultural Bilingual Unit "Huayna Capac", aims to adapt a space that provides the opportunity for infants to learn every day about their culture; for which various activities were implemented that involved working on the customs and traditions that characterized the community. For this research, a search was made for theoretical references that supported what was related to the learning corners, their dimensions, culture, ancestral knowledge, etc. In the methodological section, the study is based on the socio-critical paradigm with a qualitative approach, a matrix of categories was elaborated and the interview and field diaries were used as instruments. For data analysis, both first and second cycle coding and methodological triangulation were carried out. The diagnosis identified the absence of a cultural corner to teach infants their customs and traditions in the Community Family Child Education classroom. Therefore, a proposal was made to design and implement a cultural corner so that infants would have their own space to strengthen the knowledge of their history and the revaluation of their local, community and family knowledge. The results showed that by implementing a cultural corner it was possible to rescue the children's origins, since the didactic activities were aimed at recognizing their ancestral and community roots. Finally, in the conclusions it was established that parents play an important role in the educational formation of their children, since the home is the main space where love for their culture should be instilled from an early age. In addition, teachers are in charge of reinforcing traditions, customs and ancestral knowledge in classes, through various activities aimed at working on the children's cultural identity.
