Abstract
This academic research is focused on text production at the medium level of Compulsory Education In the context of pre-professional practices carried out in the fifth year of Basic Education in “Abelardo Tamariz” School, the student’s text production has not been observed despite being considered a fundamental component according to the country's and the institution’s standards. As its development is of paramount importance, it has been established as a general objective to propose a system of activities based on the children’s story to improve the text production process. The method0 design is Participatory Action Research with a qualitative focus. To detect the problem we used data collection through participant observation and documentary analysis. With the help of theoretical referents, we were able to determine the didactics that the Language and Literature domain should use in the classroom. We propose a system of activities as a teaching resource based on the children’s story, a genre with which the students are familiar. The proposal takes the procedural approach to structure the moments of the class and it explains learning activities and ways of working to achieve that the process of producing texts is not overshadowed by the other macro skills of the Language.
