Abstract
The present work arises with the purpose of creating a speech therapy intervention strategy with an inclusive approach to develop the expressive language of a third-grade child with autism spectrum disorder of the Agustín Cueva Tamariz Specialized Educational Unit located in the city of Cuenca. The theoretical bases and positions of different authors are based, in which they focus on the problem of expressive language of children with ASD and its general characteristics that lead to autism spectrum disorder. The research is part of the interpretive hermeneutic paradigm and the qualitative approach. The unit of analysis of the case study focuses on a single case selected in a student with verbal ASD, but with difficulties in his expressive language. According to what is proposed within the qualitative research, different techniques and instruments are carried out that allowed knowing the speech therapy diagnosis of expressive language in all the components of language. The information collected by the instruments allowed the design of a strategy to provide an outlet for the needs found in expressive language, it consists of a speech therapy corner that works on all areas of the language components, phonetic, semantic, morphosyntactic, and pragmatic, are based on the Teach, Role Playing methods, based on the game, which will allow their interaction in different contexts; social, academic and family. The study of the expressive language of children with ASD and its intervention is considered important because verbal children manage to acquire and improve their communication skills.
