Abstract
This study explores the impact of school management on educational quality and school coexistence in bilingual intercultural contexts, focusing on improving organizational quality and school coexistence at the "Gareno" Intercultural Bilingual Community Educational Unit in Ecuador. The main objective is to implement management strategies to achieve this purpose. The methodology used is a case study and field research, where nine teachers were surveyed, and one administrator was interviewed. A mixed approach was also employed, combining qualitative and quantitative methods. Content analysis techniques and statistical methods were applied to ensure the validity and reliability of the results obtained. The main findings indicated that 70% of the teachers have a positive perception of the organizational climate, although only 45% of parents actively participate in decision-making. The school organization was considered adequate by 65% of the teachers, but limitations in planning were identified due to a lack of resources. The interviews suggested that communication and community participation are critical areas requiring attention to improve educational management. Finally, the study highlights the importance of participatory leadership and improved communication and participation to strengthen school coexistence and educational quality.
