Abstract
This master's thesis was carried out at the Roberto Espíndola Maldonado School of Basic Education located in the canton of Milagro - Ecuador, in the sixth grade students in parallel "B", since it is considered that vocational guidance is a process of help that it develops in the course of the person's life. The orientation allows the student to make vocational decisions more in line with the reality of their environment. Tutoring and the different disciplines or subjects are the appropriate spaces to implement the programs and proposals. It is worrisome to observe students who reach the baccalaureate without having at least notion of their tastes and preferences to be able to choose a professional career, which is why the general objective has been focused on contributing to the development of vocational maturity, through an orientation program so that they have a deep knowledge of the professional world. I conclude by stating that a didactic unit was established that includes a tutorial plan detailing each of the activities that are considered important for elementary students, thus changing the thinking about their professional future and thus contributing to the improvement of their quality of life.
