Abstract
This research work was framed in an educational context in the sub-intermediate level of the Mathematics field. The objective of this study focused on developing educational capsules (interactive videos) as a complement to the teaching and learning process of multiplication with natural numbers derived from the analysis of the implications of the learner and educator in this process. This research was developed on the socio-critical paradigm under a mixed approach and the Action Research (AI) method. In addition, techniques and instruments such as interviews, surveys, pre- and post-tests were used to collect data, and these were applied to teachers and seventh-year students. On the other hand, as a process of validation several theoretical bases were reviewed to clarify and support the importance of educational capsules in the educational field. From data analysis and triangulation, the results highlighted the importance of applying educational capsules in the teaching and learning process of multiplication with natural numbers because they promoted participation, motivation and interest in learning. In the same way, since this resource is an educational innovation, it allows the teacher to involve the class stages with technology.
