Abstract
The recognition of the life projects of students in the Education of Young People and Adults (EPJA) are essential in the decision they make to continue their studies. A special factor is motivation, helping to define your personal and professional objectives. Considering that the EPJA seeks for participants who study in this modality not only to acquire academic knowledge, but also to develop skills that allow them to provide solutions to the problems that arise in daily and work life. In addition, decision-making and the development of a personal identity in which positivism is always emphasized are taken into account. A qualitative, descriptive research methodology was assumed, which contributed to obtaining truthful and updated information that reflects the reality of the population under study using the reconstruction of significant practices. The result was the integration that must exist between the categories: life project, motivation, pedagogical support, as well as interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary teaching-learning. Derived from the interpretation of the reconstructed practice, it was possible to identify the nuclei of reflection to promote the transformation of life projects in young people and adults with unfinished schooling from an inter and transdisciplinary approach in the Paltas Educational Unit of the Paltas canton, Loja province.
