Abstract
The present research entitled Strengthening creativity in children from 4 to 5 years of age at the "María Montessori" Early Education Center, has the objective of proposing a system of graphic- plastic activities in the area of artistic expression to strengthen creativity in children from 4 to 5 years of age at the "María Montessori" Early Education Center, Azogues, Cañar-Ecuador, parallel 2 "G". It was theoretically based on several authors related to creativity in early education. The methodology used corresponds to the socio-critical paradigm through the qualitative approach, with a type of field research based on a case study, techniques and instruments were used to collect information such as: participant observation-observation guides, interview-question guide and documentary review-documentary review sheet. Therefore, the system of grapho-plastic activities was designed and validated by piloting 30% and the results obtained were that through freedom, imagination, manipulation and experimentation, creativity was strengthened in the students. To conclude, the system of grapho-plastic activities contributed to the strengthening of creativity in the children, which made it possible to respond to the objectives set out in this study.
