Abstract
The present research aims to propose a speech therapy intervention strategy based on music therapy for the development of oral language in a child with Speech Sound Disorder in the first year of General Basic Education who is a user of the UDIPSAI. This study is based on expressive language and its components, in the correction of the Speech Sound Disorder, whose affected component is the phonetic-phonological to develop oral language. The research is based on the interpretative hermeneutic paradigm, with a qualitative approach and the case study method. The case studied was the child with TSH, which coincides with the unit of analysis. From the categories of analysis: oral language and Speech Sound Disorder and with the selection of techniques such as: unstructured interview, participant observation and document analysis, obtaining as main result that the child's oral language has not been stimulated and presents a functional type TSH. Therefore, a speech therapy intervention strategy based on music therapy is designed to correct this disorder, whose objective is to develop the oral language of the child with TSH, this presents several sessions of speech therapy intervention and the evaluation is proposed to see the progress of the child. This proposal aims to achieve a development in oral language and to correct the TSH in the child, with activities appropriate to his age.
