Abstract
The strengthening of good logical-mathematical reasoning is fundamental in education, since it promotes key skills for problem solving and critical thinking. During the pre-professional internship in an Educational Unit, located in the city of Cuenca, it was identified that sixth grade students presented difficulties in this area, reflected in their low performance in Mathematics. These difficulties included problems in understanding figures, solving problems and establishing relationships between concepts. To address this problem, an educational intervention focused on strengthening logical-mathematical reasoning was designed. A guide of didactic strategies adapted to the needs of the students was developed, using active and collaborative dynamics, such as the gymkhana, to make learning more attractive and accessible. These strategies fostered logical thinking and the active participation of students in their learning. The research was conducted under the sociocritical paradigm with a qualitative approach, being descriptive and based on the Action Research (AR) method. Techniques such as participant observation, interviews and diagnostic tests were used to gather information. The results showed that the application of the guide improved the students' logical reasoning skills. In conclusion, this proposal is revealed as an effective tool for
