Abstract
Universal Design for Learning is a practical theoretical model that prioritizes curricular design, from diversity to inclusive education with quality. The proposal is that all students have opportunities for their learning. The general objective was to promote mathematical logical thinking through the Universal Design for learning with students of seventh grade in UEP Corazón de María. The methodological design is based on an interpretive paradigm, with a qualitative approach and the case study methodology. The techniques used for data collection were the observation and the semi-structured interview; the instruments used were the observation sheet and interview guide for teachers and students of seventh grade in which the study was carried out. The main conclusion was that the result of this analysis evidences that students' difficulty in mathematics was that they fail to solve mathematical problems involving logical thinking. For this reason, they have reasoning problems when solving specific situations. For this reason, the Universal Learning Design proposal to develop logical-mathematical thinking, in teaching-learning, has been a strategy that allowed all students to participate and get involved in learning by encouraging critical and reflective thinking, putting them to solve real events that occur in an environment.
