Abstract
This research is focused on examining in detail the impact of the introduction of mobile simulators as a didactic resource in the teaching and learning process of Natural Sciences, especially in the topic of the Origin of the Universe and the Solar System. This research was conducted with 8th grade students of General Basic Education (EGB) of the Luis Cordero Educational Unit. For the development of this research, a thorough search was conducted on mobile applications-simulators that are available to students (at no cost, without the need to connect to the Internet, also available in all mobile device application stores). In order for students to become familiar and adapt quickly and effectively with the use of these applications. The introduction to these apps was made (presentation of the interface, manual and user guide, advantages of these applications, time that each session will last). The main objective of this study was to evaluate in general how the integration of mobile simulators affects not only the academic performance of students, but also their active participation in the educational process and their level of interest in the scientific content covered. We seek to measure changes in classroom dynamics and student engagement with Natural Science topics through the application of these technological tools. The research methodology includes the observation of the students' participation in the educational process and their level of interest in the scientific contents dealt with.
