Abstract
The present curricular integration project is born from a real problem, which was identified in the Educational Unit "Francisco Febres Cordero" specifically in the second year of parallel Basic Education "B". The problematic evidence is due to low academic performance and student demotivation, due to the traditional classes taught by the teacher within the area of Natural Sciences. From this, an investigation is developed aimed at the search for a possible way of solution, it is there where theoretical and practical foundations are approached that allow to strengthen the development of the learning of Natural Sciences. As a result of this search, practical activity is proposed as a viable strategy that allows generating enriching and innovative learning environments from this perspective, a guide of practical activities was developed taking into account one of the thematic units, in this case in particular unit # 3. On the other hand, going into the methodological part, this work of curricular integration corresponds to a Participant Action Research, where we worked with a socio-critical paradigm from a qualitative approach. The population corresponding to the research is the students of the elementary sublevel, where the sample with which we worked are the students of the second parallel year "B", specifically with 28 students, whose ages are around 6 and 7 years. Finally, this project concludes with the development of a section in which conclusions and recommendations that emerged throughout the entire investigative process are placed. Given what has been stated in previous lines, this project serves as a practical and theoretical reference for those who undertake research focused on the learning of Natural Sciences.
