Abstract
The purpose of the teaching-learning process of Physics is to encourage the student to interact with these sciences since it influences the progress of scientific and technological activities that take place in the world. The objective of this research is to propose Problem-Based Learning as a didactic strategy to contribute to the teaching-learning process of Physics in the subject of Movement in the 1st A of the Baccalaureate of the Luis Cordero Educational Unit. The theoretical foundations of block 1 were analyzed, as well as the didactic strategy, the teaching-learning methodology of the teacher. From the quantitative and qualitative position, information is obtained from data collection techniques such as the survey, pre-test and interview, which allowed detecting low performance in the teaching-learning process. Finally, to measure the feasibility of the PBL as a didactic strategy, interviews were applied to the teacher and the students, evaluations of each class topic and the post test to the students, which in contrast showed that the application of the PBL as a didactic strategy had an impact positive in the teaching-learning process of Physics in the subject of Movement, the students presented an improvement in their academic performance, strengthened their social, critical and reflective skills.
