Abstract
Educational practice requires constant innovation and investigation of new methodological strategies that allow the student to be the protagonist of their own learning. When living within this educational reality, an absence has been observed in the use of didactic and recreational materials applied under innovative techniques or methods that awaken and motivate interest in learning or investigating beyond what the teacher offers at the pedagogical moment within from the classroom. From this perspective, the response to the educational process, the formative base of the students, is reflected in a purely mechanical and memory reaction to the activities that the teacher proposes; At this stage, the questioning is not sought or the school process is critically reflected from within. For this reason, what is sought is to motivate students by adapting their way of transmitting and acquiring knowledge to their interests and real needs, through the use of playful strategies applied in learning scenarios, allowing us as teachers to show them the usefulness and meaning of everything what they are learning so that they can be applied in their daily lives. The objective of this study was to demonstrate the significant scope of learning and its pedagogical potential within the classroom as a teaching method and strategy for students of the 5th year of intercultural bilingual education through the use and application of the playful and didactic material of the Cotton Buds. Geo-Math and the Interactive Map: Ecuador and its provinces. The method used for the research process was qualitative in nature, exclusively descriptive. The participants were children between an age range corresponding to 9-10 years of the 5th grade of IBE of the Millennium Educational Unit Guardian of the “Chibuleo” Language. The data collection instruments used were: cell phone, computer and teaching materials (Geo-Math Sticks and Interactive Map. As the classroom is one of the main learning spaces for students' academic training, the fundamental basis for inducing the development of reasoning in the metacognitive areas of logical, critical and abstract space in students is made up of the dynamics of the game that it unravels. a dialectical idea of "playing to learn and learn by playing", which allowed children to achieve meaningful and dynamic learning. Through the application of the learning scenarios, it was possible to observe a before and after in the children's learning process, which was recorded in observation cards that show as results the display of skills, motor and sensorial skills that were not initially observed in students. In this way, the didactic potential of teaching and learning can be demonstrated to strengthen logical, critical and abstract reasoning that the aforementioned playful learning materials have.
