Abstract
The present work of curricular integration aims to contribute to the improvement of the mastery of the tables of multiplying and promoting the good student performance in the students of the seventh year of basic education of the Educational Unit Juan Montalvo of the city of Cuenca. The theoretical references are made up of interactive groups, teaching and learning of multiplication and good student performance, based on the contributions of Brousseau (2002), Andonegui (2006), Isoda and Olfos (2009) and Nunes (2005), which allowed to base the research to design a proposal. So the objective of the research was to develop skills with performance criteria associated with multiplication through the methodological strategy interactive groups, which allowed to analyze, substantiate, design and evaluate the application proposal. The work is approached from a sociocritical paradigm, a method of research-action and a qualitative approach, which helps to apply different techniques and instruments of information collection and analysis. The results obtained in the pre-test showed that the students did not achieve the required learnings, however, in the post-test that was applied after the implementation of the proposal, positive results were obtained, since 81% of the students achieved and mastered the required learnings. The research consists of 4 phases: diagnosis, planning, action and reflection. In conclusion, this research contributes to students achieving the required learning through the methodological strategy interactive groups.
