Abstract
The present research project stems from the experience of the Continuing Education (DEC) Department at the National University of Education (UNAE) in developing a range of courses focused on the virtual mode, which involves collaborative efforts from both the teaching and administrative staff of the institution. Through this experience, specific needs among the institution's teachers for enhancing their digital competencies have been identified. Consequently, the construction of an interactive guide as a tool for developing digital competencies geared toward the creation of virtual courses is proposed. To develop this proposal, a mixed approach has been employed. On one hand, a quantitative analysis of user satisfaction survey results from virtual courses over the past few years has been conducted, while on the other hand, a qualitative analysis of the experience working with teachers in developing these educational processes has been carried out through participant observation. The results derived from this analysis have facilitated the creation of a guide tailored to the needs of the institution's teachers, serving as a tool that contributes to the development of virtual courses at the university.
