Abstract
Oral language is the means of communication most used by human beings, through this they can express and make known their ideas, desires, feelings and thoughts. Therefore, early stimulation is important, since we help the infant to have an effective interaction and communication with her context, as stated by Piaget and Brunner. From this arises the present project entitled "Stimulation of oral language through didactic strategies in children from 4 to 5 years of CEI ABC" with the objective of developing a didactic guide that enhances the stimulation of oral language in boys and girls from 4 to 5 years of the parallel F of the CEI, the primary strategy being the orofacial activities. As theoretical foundations, issues about oral language are assumed, from its difficulties to the influence of Initial Education in its development, in addition, the curriculum and its relationship with the subject of study are addressed. This qualitative approach research is based on a socio- critical and descriptive paradigm, applied through action research, whose purpose is to transform educational practices through an intervention proposal, which arose from an initial diagnosis applied to the group of students. The proposal developed was titled "The magic of my voice", it was executed for 6 weeks through playful and creative activities whose results were a notable advance in the skills related to oral language of the Ecuadorian Initial Education curriculum. In conclusion, it is highlighted that it was possible to solve the identified problem, with the use of strategies, which are based on the needs and interests of children.
