Abstract
Currently, it seeks to optimize the education and learning of chemistry through digital tools (Mentimeter and Acapp). However, this is not proven in the students of the second parallel baccalaureate “H” of the Educational Unit “César Dávila Andrade” because, its primary problem within the chemistry area is in the lack of interest and participation in classes. This is why this work aims to analyze the influence of digital tools for teaching - learning of this subject. This research is of quasi experimental type, since the problem to be investigated will be carried out with the participation of two groups of students, one control and another experimental with pre - test and post - test the choice of groups is given intentionally, it is recorded From a mixed approach with a study population to the students of Second de Bachillero, two groups of students correspond to the second “H” as an experimental group and the “E” as a control group are chosen. Everything mentioned, it has been possible to diagnose through the participatory observation technique of the classes, informal interviews with the professional tutor and the students, the analytical survey developed to the students and the results of the pre - test, in which they present disinterests about classes and low knowledge of the topic addressed in class. It is concluded that the management of digital tools is indispensable in learning by allowing students to develop their scientific, analytical, criticism and information conservation capabilities.
