Abstract
The objective of this work is to design a didactic strategy supported by Project Based Learning (PBL), which allows the learning of Descriptive Statistics and the relevance with the Technical Professional Figure (TPF) Agricultural Productions of the Technical Baccalaureate, for it a qualitative methodology was used since it allows analyzing the subject in his interaction with the environment from the description and observation. The instruments used to collect the information were: knowledge test, attitude questionnaire, evaluation rubrics and focus groups; they were applied to students of the first TB of the Molleturo High School (10 men and 7 women). The didactic strategy PBL that was applied during the intervention allowed the integration of the Descriptive Statistics with the TPF, from which the students managed to pose and solve problems of application of the measures of the central tendency, skill necessary for the development of the competence of production and propagation of a short cycle crop in the open field and / or under cover. The results reflect the students' interest in building their learning by linking theory with practice in a real context, as well as a high degree of acceptance to the proposal in the teaching-learning process.
