Abstract
The purpose of this research work is to implement a set of activities for the development of academic reinforcement based on the tutorial action of the 9th B students of Basic General Education in the Mathematics subject of the Zoila Aurora Palacios Educational Unit, where It manifests a traditional model, demotivated students and learning difficulties during the regular class process. From this situation, as a proposal, a set of activities for academic reinforcement based on the tutorial action was applied. This proposal conforms to the fourth line of research of the National University of Education (UNAE), which refers to the study of good pedagogical practices, the agents involved and the components related to the teaching and learning process. The methodology responds to a mixed approach that implies a qualitative and quantitative analysis, through the study of cases based on the -critical paradigm, where the 34 students of the year mentioned and the Mathematics tutor participated. The proposal to improve the learning conditions of the students in terms of motivation and interest towards the subject and assume the functions of the tutorial action by the teachers, such as accompaniment, application time, use of strategies and community participation educational The conclusions determine that academic reinforcement based on tutorial action allows students to have more possibilities of appropriating knowledge and achieving skills from the accompaniment of the teacher.
