Abstract
This research focused on the development of fine motor skills in the field of artistic expression with infants aged 4 to 5 years. Where it evidenced several deficiencies in the classroom corresponding to the category of study. Therefore, the purpose was to implement a system of activities based on graph-plastic techniques for the development of fine motor skills in infants from 4 to 5 years old, in the area of artistic expression of the CEI "ABC". In this sense, a structure was developed based on theoretical references from Piaget's constructivist paradigm (1978). We also worked with the Early Education curriculum (2014) with the skills of the Artistic Expression area, in the same way the development of fine motor skills was approached from different authors such as: Muñoz (2019), Chuva (2016), Merchán and Pincay (2017), Galeano et al. (2019) and González et al. (2020). This research was developed under the socio-critical paradigm, with a qualitative approach using the case study method and its respective phases. Based on the aforementioned, the diagnostic categorization table was used through which techniques such as participant observation, semi-structured interview and instruments such as the observation guide and the interview guide were applied. Thus, a thorough analysis of information was carried out, resulting in the various difficulties of infants in relation to fine motor skills. In conclusion, a system of activities entitled "A magic world in my hands" was proposed, which contains activities located in the field of artistic expression based on graph-plastic techniques.
