Abstract
The following research project is focused on the quality of parental interactions, which are one of the main agents of development and cause the different responses and reactions presented by the child. As Valencia y Henao, (2012) and Vilaseca, (2019) indicates, they are the set of behaviors that parents present when relating to their children and in turn these adjust and modify the construction of the personality and emotional development of the child. Therefore, when there is a low quality of parental interactions, the educational, social and emotional level of the child presents problems. That is why this research aims to strengthen the quality of these interactions by conducting workshops for parents of children of the Initial Sublevel 2 group of 3 to 4 years, parallel A of the Ciudad de Cuenca Educational Unit, accompanied by the methodology educational Popular education. Similarly, this project in its methodological part makes use of Action Research, with a qualitative approach accompanied by quantitative data, in this case the Piccolo scale, in addition it makes use of a socio-critical paradigm. Thus, this research resulted in processes of self-awareness and generated knowledge in its participants since, through the application of workshops, it could be seen that the representatives were able to understand the subject and commit themselves to improve the relationship with their children in order to give more importance to the different behaviors, desires and emotions of the child. Therefore, it is considered appropriate for schools and teachers to emphasize work with families through experiential workshops, since the family is the first context for the child's integral development.
