Abstract
The present study is focused on the development of social skills with an inclusive approach in recreational spaces, which aims to propose a guide to inclusive recreational activities for the development of social skills in recreational spaces in students of the elementary sublevel in the Napo Provincial Council Basic Education School. The research assumes an interpretive paradigm with a qualitative approach at a descriptive level, assuming the case study methodology with its respective phases. The techniques used were observation and interview; The instruments used were the interview guide and observation guide. The results obtained in the category of social skills for interpersonal relationships, it was determined that students are divided into groups according to their affinity, causing some children to be isolated in the playground, and vulgar language was also evident in recess spaces. In interpersonal skills, there is leadership of certain groups, especially in collective games that involve physical contact causing aggressive competition. The design arises from the identified problems and is characterized by taking into account the diversity of interests, abilities and needs of the students, in addition to adjusting to the cultural and social contexts. Likewise, the proposal was validated by specialists who emphasize that it is coherent, relevant and flexible for its application.
