Abstract
The project that will be presented below highlights the importance of promoting participation through activities based on play-work within learning experiences, since infants enjoy this activity, managing to express their feelings, emotions, discomfort and concerns, helping in their cognitive, personal, social and academic development. For this reason, the Curricular Integration Work (TIC) is entitled 'The game-work methodology as a promoter of participation in children of Initial 2 "A" of the Santa Rosa Educational Unit'. Its objective is to propose activities from the game-work methodology that promote the participation of boys and girls from 4 to 5 years old of Initial 2 of the Santa Rosa Educational Unit. For its theoretical foundation, it is divided into two categories that are the participation justified by authors such as Gallego (2015) and the game-work with the Initial Education Curriculum (2014). Each one of them is broken down into subcategories such as the definition, negative aspects of low participation, benefits of the work game, characteristics, among others. In addition, the methodological framework describes the research process with its socio-critical paradigm, qualitative approach, action-research method, techniques and instruments such as observation and field diary where a large amount of information and details of the practices carried out in the field were collected. Ambato city. Likewise, the interview with the question guide to learn about the teacher's point of view. The results obtained from the research were positive for the group, since in the diagnosis phase the participation of the children was worrying because they had difficulties in communicating and relating to each other. However, the application of various activities within corners made the children more confident, with greater ease in expressing themselves and developing various Curriculum skills, especially in the Coexistence Environment. In general terms, it is concluded that the application of activities that involve the bond with their peers, respect for the rules within the classroom, compliance with their obligations, fosters empathy and develops attitudes and values.
