Abstract
This project delves into the exploration of gamification as an innovative and transformative pedagogical strategy, specifically aimed at enhancing the teaching of Language and Literature to tenth-year students in Basic Education. It seeks to examine how the integration of playful elements can influence student motivation and performance by effectively incorporating these elements into the educational process. The qualitative methodology used facilitates the analysis of how gamification affects student interaction and engagement with educational content. Through this analysis, key categories are identified such as the pressing need for innovation in pedagogical practices; it is suggested that gamification may have a positive impact on learning and the inherent challenges to its implementation. Experts, after a meticulous evaluation, give a positive and outstanding assessment of the proposal, highlighting its relevance and the significant contribution it represents to the educational field. The literature review, as well as the evaluations of the expert reviewers, indicate a positive correlation between gamification and improvements in student participation and performance, while also emphasizing the crucial importance of providing adequate teacher training and ensuring the availability of necessary resources for successful implementation. In conclusion, this project highlights gamification not only as a relevant methodology but also as a key and essential tool for contemporary education, offering practical, updated, and effective solutions to the current challenges in the teaching of Language and Literature.
